Jewish end-of-life ritual services for the Boulder community.

We stand here ready to prepare you for your final journey.

Throughout the ages, Jewish communities have established holy societies—a chevra kadisha—to care for the deceased from the time of death until interment.

Our loved ones who have passed need us to perform a ritual act they cannot do for themselves. The Boulder Chevra Kadisha is guided by Jewish guidelines and our commitment to providing end-of-life ritual services and educational resources to the Jewish community. Our dedicated volunteers receive education, training, and spiritual support.

Our sacred work provides meaningful opportunities to our volunteers.

End Of Life Resources

Helpful lists of rabbis, mortuaries, and cemeteries. We also provide information on mourning rituals and useful pre-planning documents.

“The highest act of loving kindness is that which is done for the dead, for there can never be any thought of repayment.”
